Singapore: EPS achieves 550th STS LNG bunkering op milestone with FueLNG and Shell

During the operation, bunkering vessel “FueLNG Bellina” supplied LNG marine fuel to EPS’s dual-fuel “PCTC Lake Villarica” in Singapore.

Singapore-based shipping firm Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) on Wednesday (28 January) said the company reached another major milestone in its LNG journey — its 550th successful ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation with partners Shell Marine and Singapore’s bunker supplier FueLNG.

During the operation, bunkering vessel FueLNG Bellina supplied LNG marine fuel to EPS’s dual-fuel PCTC Lake Villarica in Singapore.

“This milestone is more than just a number. It demonstrates how far we have come in scaling LNG as a viable marine fuel and embedding it into daily fleet operations,” EPS said.

“It reflects the strength of our partnerships, the discipline of our crews, and the robustness of our dual-fuel infrastructure. LNG continues to play a key role in our transition strategy, offering meaningful emission reductions and ensuring regulatory compliance.”
